We have a lovely brunch special on today, this is my go to staff breakfast so you know it’s going to be good! I call it “Eggs Rayu” swipe left for our lovely homemade peanut chilli and black garlic Rayu.
Sourdough toast with avocado, bacon, poached eggs and peanut Rayu! Serious stuff! Get in from 10am this Sunday morning, served all day💪

It was a pleasure to be surrounded by some of the best local food and it’s makers, and shoulder to shoulder with the magnificent food retailers that make this county so delicious!

It is with a very heavy heart to announce our Bridge street westport premises closure. Unfortunately because of rising costs and the fallout from covid we can’t keep going here on Bridge street. We tried our best to come out of covid times by trying different things but we just fell short in the end. Castlebar is still going strong! We want to keep our heads up high as we will always keep going and trying new things so keep an eye out for something new in the near future! I just want to give a big thanks to all the lovely customers we’ve had in the last 7 years and all the staff that has worked for Cian’s on Bridge Street, all the customers who have welcomed us into Castlebar and the great staff we have there, all the help from family and good friends, and all the local suppliers who have been very patient lately, it means a lot! We couldn’t have done it without you all! U all know who you are. Any loose ends will be tied up from Castlebar premises for anyone that’s worried. Thanks for all the memories, what a ride Bridge Street has been, between winning best restaurant multiple times, getting our Michelin plaque on the door every year running up until covid hit, our very successful collab with and then the very random idea of making donuts and switching to burgers for the pandemic and winning the award for best gourmet burger 2021. All the ups and downs along the way I will never forget.
