A very exciting week for Mirjam’s kitchen! On this Friday the 30th I’ll be at the lovely selling lots of lovely treats for Halloween. And on Saturday 31st I’ll be at Ballyneale Hall in the evening. I hope to see you there! I promise no tricks, only treats 👻🎃

“Mamma, I’d like to stay for the whole school year” he said.
The mother had expected him to say this so it didn’t come as a surprise, but she could feel her heart sink a little.
Of course she’s delighted for him, I mean isn’t it great that he’s doing so well? And she’s so grateful that both schools are so supportive. This is a good thing, it’s wonderful in fact. She feels very proud, but the tears keep rolling down her cheeks..❤️

The perfect Saturday💚
As soon as today’s baking was done, I prepared a little picnic and took the kids to the wonderful Mahon falls. Where else would you want to spend such a beautiful day?

🌲I’m now taking orders for Christmas cakes🌲 It’s that wonderful time of year again when I start to plan my Christmas baking and make those yummy fruit cakes so they can mature in time for Christmas.
All cakes are iced with homemade marsipan and royal icing 🌟 And they all come gift wrapped 🎁

And I will be making the 3 different sizes again this year; the 5” round (ideal for a couple of small household), 2lbs loaf and 8” round.
Orders are limited and will be taken until mid November. Feel free to get in touch to place an order😊
