We have some gorgeous Bolabeg Farm striploin and filet steaks available for sale in the cafe. These are sold in packs of two.

Pop in and help us support small local farmers and butchers!

Please note: The beef is sold frozen to ensure freshness.

Anyone who's a regular visitor will know our beautiful Deirdre. She'd often be smiling, sporting her bodacious and infectious laugh or organising us all behind (or not so behind) the scenes.

It is with both sadness and pride that, after all these years, we say goodbye to her as she starts on her own adventure - Roasted Reel Coffee - in Ballindaggin. So, if you're in today or tomorrow, please join us in wishing her all the best on the next exciting step of her journey and if you're in the Ballindaggin area, why not pop in a get a cuppa and a sambo. From today, our outdoor cafe in the Altamont Walled Garden will be open daily from 10:30-4:30.

It's a lovely spot to stop for a little refreshment during your visit to the beautiful gardens and plant shop.

🎉 20 Wexford Producers Reach the Blas na hÉireann 2026 Finals! 🎉

Congratulations to the 20 exceptional food and drink producers from County Wexford who have been announced as finalists in Blas na hÉireann 2026, The Irish Food Awards.

The countdown is now on to Di**le, where winners will be announced on Friday 2nd October as part of a fantastic celebration of Irish food and drink.

👏 Best of luck to all the Wexford finalists. We are incredibly proud of your achievements and look forward to cheering you on in Di**le!
