So, I know some of you missed the little extras last few weeks & to be honest I missed them too - eating them that is, the reduced menu options made a big difference for me mentally and physically in the heat and I have to admit it am enjoying the much slower pace that summer tends to bring to our house.
That being said I did have more energy last Sunday to do some baking for fun.
I had stumbled upon a bun on instagram before the holiday that I’d been dying to try, I thought ooh that sounds nice and fresh and summery, so I did the first test on Sunday and it did not disappoint. Soft “pillowy” bun with a creamy custard type filling with a mango jam and a coconut crumble topping.
I did another batch on Saturday as I wanted to see if they would be ok to prove overnight and they were! 🥳
I plan to make a batch of these for Saturday morning (cabin-collection), send me dm if you’d like to order. Remember these are cabin collection only.

Hey everyone! Well I’m back from our family holiday, we had a great time for the most part but unfortunately I as really unwell for the last few days, a holiday of two halves - the before and after sort of thing so unfortunately I’m under doctors orders to take it off easy and rest up to allow a proper recovery- I’m getting there but not fully there yet. So I’ve been trying to rest up this week so I can try to be ready to be back at it next week.
I hope you can forgive me and live another week without a Grá Arán loaf or two for another while.

The Pop up pantry in Rathdangan is always a wonderful community event and last Sunday no different. It’s a great way to bring people together - familiar faces and a some new ones. I just want to say thanks again to everyone who stopped by my table and I hope you enjoyed your bread and treats - do get in touch by dm if you wish to pre order, someone also mentioned they might need some starter - don’t be shy😉 Im always happy to help.

Also, a reminder that this coming weekend is my last one before I take a summer break so if you need to stock up bread will be in all the usuals Friday/Saturday and then returning the first weekend in July.

Hi everyone! Fridays bread is on the shelves and Saturdays is in motion and will be in all the usuals between 8:30&9:30(ish) in the morning. If that’s not enough and you need more you can catch me in Rathdangan on Sunday from 10am. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Hi everyone. There will be no “Saturdays bread” this week all bread will be delivered on Friday for this week only.

This weekend you can find me at the country market on Saturday from 11. So excited to be bringing my baguettes to Donard this month! Breads will be on the shelves in all the usuals on Friday and Saturday, but for something extra I will be looking forward to seeing everyone there. 🤗
