Customer Notice
It is with deep regret that after 36 years in business the Gallagher family have decided to sell their home bakery in Ballybofey.
We would like to thank all our loyal customers and friends for your valued custom over the years. We would also like to thank all our employees for all their dedication and hard work.
Our last day in the bakery will be Saturday, 28th January 2023 and the new owners, the O Hehir family from Sligo will be opening for business on Wednesday, the 1st February.
We wish them well and every success in their new business.
Again, may we express our deepest gratitude to you, the best customers in the world and wish you all the very best in the future.

Customer Notice
In order to facilitate employee holidays Gallagher's Bakery will be closed from Monday, August 29th to Friday, September 9th.
The team here at Gallagher's wish to apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause to our valuable customers and friends.
We will re-open again on Friday the 9th of September refreshed, re-energised and ready for whatever this winter will throw at us.
Just to say that all our breads can be frozen so why not order ahead today and have enough bread in stock to carry you through.

We are seeking to recruit a skilled baker and a skilled confectioner/ pastry chef for full time, permanent positions in our award winning bakery in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal, Ireland. Any potential candidates for the baker position must have a minimum of 3 years experience in all aspects of the mixing, moulding and baking of a wide range of fresh breads and other morning goods, whilst any potential candidates for the pastry chef position must have a minimum of 1 years experience in all aspects of, cutting and decorating various pastries, gateaux and celebration cakes. These are senior positions within our company and all potential candidates must have a passion for their craft and have pride in their work, be willing to work under their initiative , often without instruction, and be willing introduce new products to our existing lines

Don't forget next Tuesday is Pancake Tuesday folks. We have our regular flavours - Apple and plain but we also have our raspberry and white chocolate, Nutella, Blueberry...and many more. Get in early!!!
