Let's have a minute to know Libby History

American Original Brownies
Libby Brownies started since 28th December 2007, at Simpang Darmo Permai Selatan 14/50, Surabaya. Libby originally come from “Lily” and “Robby”, the owner of the business. At first only 4 brownies variants are made, they were Classic Brownie, Original Brownie, Cheese Brownie and Choco Nut Brownie.

The business idea stem from Lily’s hobby to try several of cake recipes are obtained by attending various courses. After repeated failure, Lily finally manage to find a baked brownies recipe with a mixture of rum, and later names Original Brownie. The Original Brownie recipe adopted from American Brownies with adjustment for Asian taste.
Brownies For Family
Lily’s brownies which originally made for home consumption and share with close friends, and they love it. Along with increasing number of friends who tried, so they started to ordering for their families. Until finally they encourage Lily to start a brownies business.

Originally the concept of sales only by order and direct delivery (delivery service). At the time Libby Brownies only produce 6-15 trays per day. However, as the numbers of the costumers who came to buy directly, then in January 2008 Libby Brownies opened its first outlet in the garage for small home production to serve the costumers.

Libby Brownies opened the second outlet on July 18, 2008, at Raya Darmo 99, Surabaya, that known as Neo Imago Location. Then the third outlet on 8 November 2008, at Jalan Diponegoro 94, Surabaya (Kimia Farma Pharmacy).

Furthermore, the fourth outlet opened on 8 March, 2009, located at Manyar Kertoarjo 66, Surabaya (Prime Steak). And fifth outlet on 8 September, 2009 located at Raya Margorejo Indah A-206 Surabaya, which also together with re-opening outlet at Raya Darmo 94-Kapuas, Surabaya (Kimia Farma Pharmacy).

As the business developed, Libby Brownies need a bigger place to increase the production rate. Libby Brownies move the main kitchen and sales center to Jl. Raya Gubeng No. 4, Surabaya. The soft opening started since 18th December 2009.

In this new outlet, Libby Brownies also developed new business concept, which not only produce many variants of brownies, but also cookies, cakes and pastries to meet the consumer’s appetite.

To expand the business, Libby Opened the 7th outlet since 08 December 2015 at the Capital of Indonesia, Jln.Mendawai 1 no 84. Barito-Bulungan. Jakarta Selatan.

Libby Mendawai Is the first outlet in Jakarta, and we will open SOON the Second outlet at Jl.RC Veteran Raya No. 67. Veteran - Bintaro. Jakarta Selatan.
