Looking for some folks to do a sunset cruise on The Stray Cat on Sunday or Monday afternoon. Board at the dock at Infinity Bay at 2:00 and get back around 5:45. $65 per person. They do a great job! Fun fun fun!!!!!

Looks like I’m delivering an adorable puppy to a friend in La Ceiba this coming Wednesday. I’m leaving on the 7am ferry. Let me know if you’d like to join me for the day or let me do some shopping for you over there. There’s a Walmart and Diunsa. The Walmart is not the same as up north but it’s pretty good.

In the mood for dinner and a movie? Did you know Pineapple Grill at Pineapple Villas has movies Thursday, Friday and Saturday night? They set up conference tables with comfy office chairs and offer their menu in the movie room. The movie is free with any entree on the menu which includes their soup and salad bar. The service is fantastic and it's fun! This is this week's movie. Come introduce yourself if you see me there. I think I'll be there Saturday night. I think this is going to be a good movie. Love this island 🌴

Hi Folks, I’m considering planning a group trip to La Ceiba on the mainland, yes, the mainland 😎 I’d like to go on Sunday, April 29th. We would take the ferry over at 7:00am and return on the 4:30 ferry. If we move fast enough we can go to Walmart, Diunsa (HN Target), the mall, the dollar store and lunch at Pico Bonito Lodge. My driver will transport us for the day. I need at least 12 to sign up and I think I can go up to 24. We can all bring 3 large bags back on the ferry. It’s just a day trip but if this works out maybe I’ll plan a trip to The Copan Ruins in the future. I know you’ve all heard horrible things about the mainland but it’s incredibly beautiful. Sunday is the perfect day to go. Traffic is light and the city is pretty quiet. I’d love to share it with you. Prices will vary depending on how many sign up. We’re going to be on a tight schedule so I won’t be able to shop for anyone this trip. Please pm me privately on messenger, Ginny Richie. Feel free to call me with questions at 9763-5201. Eldon’s finally has the bread I’ve been searching for. I used to buy it on the mainland. I’ve been begging for it since I moved to the island. If you’re looking for some good wheat bread it’s finally arrived. Read the package carefully. There are 3 different types/flavors. This one is the best. Let me know if you agree. I think once the word gets out it’s going to be hard to find. Enjoy 😊

Hi Folks, Occasionally I will post pictures and my opinion of new places I visit. This week I stopped in at Escape. This establishment just opened recently. It's right at the intersection where you can either go north to Flowers Bay or West to West Bay. It's a hike up there. They have a pool and a little playground area for kids. They even have a trampoline. The day I stopped in the power was out. The bartender was really sweet. The place looks nice. I get the impression it's a good place for locals to hang out and I was told the owner isn't catering to tourists or expats. Rumor has it that the music is usually extremely loud. I probably won't go back but I wish them well.
