Grain de Sel recently opened in Sheung Wan which proposes a new concept to help you discover the tastes of France in an original way : a take away of Galette. It looks like a crepe but with a special batter - composed of buckwheat flour - allowing both sweet and savory filli
ngs to satisfy your taste buds. The concept of Grain de Sel enables you to have a hot and crispy Galette that you can easily carry to go back home, to the office or to eat immediately. The set lunch is composed of a salad or soup of the day, a Galette or sandwich and a drink - and at a reasonable price there is no reason not to join us. The flavors cover a range of traditional French ingredients. The chef's recommended dish is the Chef's Complete ($50), made with French classical products like ham and Emmental cheese, plus ratatouille, spinach, tomato or mushroom... You can also try a more traditional Galette : La Fermière - composed of bacon, goat cheese and spinach ($60). If you would prefer sweet Galette, we have a wide range - from the more classic to the typical; famous galette in France you can find want you really want. Nutella or Galette Suzette (homemade orange sauce and Grand Marnier)the choice is yours! All the Galettes are gluten free in order to take care of your health and dietary requirements. These delicious Galettes are available in Grain de Sel, situated in Sheung Wan, 255 Queen's road - which offers you a little part of France, especially of Brittany.
