Shadow, the founder and Catalyst of Beauty behind Atelier Ripple, meets Erina, founder of Shiki Musubi in Tokyo—an artist who encapsulates nature within the delicate boundary of a single wagashi.

For Erina, wagashi is a gentle invitation to awaken the senses. Stepping beyond rigid traditional forms, her creations leave space for imagination and stillness, allowing every guest to weave their own seasonal memories.

In this issue, Shadow and Erina converse on everyday inspirations, the subtle glimmers of nature, the harmonious dialogue between tea and sweets, and how we can allow ripples of beauty to blossom into daily living.

主理人也是美的漣漪人 Shadow 遇見位於東京 Shiki Musubi的 Erina，以和菓子把大自然凝縮於茶菓間。

Shadow：「生活的美學漣漪對您意味著什麼？」
Erina： 「生活的美學漣漪意味著去覺察四季更迭的美，讓那片刻的感受，化為自己的部分。當我們分享內心滋長的美，某些東西也會留在他人的心，就像一滴水珠落在池塘，向外泛起陣陣溫柔的漣漪 —— 我希望 Shiki Musubi，也能成為那道微小而美麗的漣漪。」

天地間的濁熱散去，四時漸漸變得清澈明朗——
這是「澄」的開始 🤍

在《Ripple… 漣漪美生活》的節氣曆裡：

立秋的關鍵詞是：Savor —— 細品當下
處暑的關鍵詞則是：Lucid —— 澄

「澄」，是清澈，是濁世中依然靜止的靜水。

期間，持續以文字、相片、影像，記錄料理、花、茶、器物等生活美學的歷程…..

至2024年，出版《 #漣漪美生活手帖》，展開 #流動的漣漪沙龍、分享會、「 #漣漪尋美」……以茶融合花、菓、器，推廣生活藝術 🤍

Driven by a vision to bring everyday aesthetics to life, Shadow established her culinary and lifestyle studio and bookhouse in 2008. In the same year, she launched and curated various brands, including Smile Yogurt (Smile Yogurt) and SP Simply Pleasure (SP Simply Pleasure). Through “Beautiful Treats” and “Aesthetic Experience,” she expresses lifestyle aesthetics across a rich spectrum—from tea, artisanal treats, frozen yogurt, and desserts, to exquisite vessels and attire.
Over the years, through writing & photography, she has continuously documented her journey in lifestyle aesthetics, capturing the essence of culinary arts, florals, tea, and craftsmanship.

In 2024, she published the Ripple Journal and launched the Movable Ripple Salons and the “Ripple - SeekingBeauty”—seamlessly interweaving tea with florals, confections, and vessels to advocate for the art of living. 🤍
