This year, we invited young, France-based, designer (who we first met when we saw his show last year at villa Borsani ) to come and craft another cause célèbre for Red Jane annual Xmas window

Theo envisioned the future as a giant “6” made of 20 fired metals, all tangled and hanging from the ceiling. A poetic, almost motionless dance between numbers 20 and 6 – a nod to 2026

But that’s not all! Every night, sharp 11 pm, the clock ticks, the 60 minutes countdown starts and the gigantic 6 transforms into a rainbow mirror, a rehearsal of hope, love and acceptance 🌈🌈 🌈, a prelude to the New Year - 2026

About last night: We are truly blessed and honored to have played a small part in the Fundraising Gala for our favorite museum in Greece, the Benaki Museum. This year’s event paid tribute to the iconic ceramist Eleni Vernadaki. At 92, Eleni remains remarkably active and sharp; she designed the mythical firedrakes—a recurring motif in her work—and invited us to interpret them in the form of bread.
Our little bread dragons were baked in the early hours of the morning and made their way to Athens just in time for the gala.
Heartfelt thanks to all the people from the Benaki museum (especially to Inge Nikolaou), to our head baker -kar and to bakers (who dedicated many hours to trial bakes) and

The tiny guest list included Michael Anastassiades , the man who designed Red Jane, Maria Kastani .kastani (a very old friend), Eva Papadaki (a new friend), Douglas Martin Eveleigh (our favorite photographer), Konstantinos Kassidopoulos (the best new pastry chef of Greece) and Alexandros Douras (our newest new friend). Special thanks to —such a bright, generous, sunny spirit whose talent in visual composition is matched only by her effortlessly insightful writing.
