Thomas D. Gazis is a Greek Astrologer, writer, and international speaker. He has extensively lectured almost all over Europe and written articles for “American Astrology”, “Horoscope Guide”, “The Astrological Journal”, the “ISAR International Astrologer” etc.

In 2000 - 2001 he organized in Greece the "Astromykonos" international conferences (featuring - among many other international speakers - Robert Hand and Noel Tyl). He was invited as a main speaker at the U.A.C. 2012 Astrology Conference in New Orleans, and as a back-up speaker at the Chicago UAC 2018.

He currently is an instructor at the "European Astrology University".

LATENT SYNASTRY EXPLAINED IN A SINGLE IMAGE!

A word search puzzle is a good metaphor for grasping the difference between conventional and Latent Synastry!
Since the signs of Gemini and Capricorn are respectively shown horizontally and vertically in the image below, you will be able to identify them with ease. However, will you be able to identify the sign i.e. of Scorpio?

(Hint: you should start with the letter "S" at about the middle of the first column on the right. Did you find it? It is "Scorpio"!)

Do you understand the difference now? The words that are more visible, the horizontal and vertical ones, correspond to conventional Synastry, whereas the more difficult to detect inverted, oblique words correspond to Latent Synastry! And the fact is that the latter count as much as the former!

THE TENTH's HOUSE "DAZZLING PRISM"!

(Lessons from a Workshop on the horoscope's "Angles")!

Being worthy of something and being famous for it are two different things, as we learnt yesterday at my Greek workshop on the horoscope's angles.

There are out there thousands of famous doctors, lawyers, astrologers etc. who in reality are mediocre. They climbed to prominence mostly by their "public relations" and "connections" (and some of them by trampling over their more worthy colleagues).

On the other hand, there are out there thousands of doctors, lawyers, astrologers etc. who are highly worthy but generally incospicuous or even marginilized, because they are not "connected" and "promoted" (or even because they didn't stomp on their colleagues)!

We also talked at the workshop about that particular "fascination aura" instilled in the Tenth House, a kind of "aura" directly related to fame, which we dubbed "the Tenth's House Dazzling Prism"!

In the video below, you can see the famous lead guitarist and vocalist of the "ZZ Top" group Billy Gibbons performing on the street, while almost no one appears to be paying attention. In such a context, Gibbons has no Tenth's House "Dazzling Prism" in front of him. No matter how good he is, the casual passer-by will regard him as just another anonymous street performer in need of some bucks...

Many of these casual passers-by, however, would spend hundreds of dollars to see Gibbons on stage. In that context, Gibbons would have a Tenth's House "Dazzling Prism" in front of him, so the same people would passionately cheer and clap him!

HOW TO MAKE ANNUAL PREDICTIONS FOR SOMEONE!

In an astrological session, clients ask the astrologer for personal predictions for a given period of time, typically the following twelve months. As the new year approaches, this demand intensifies, with clients asking for personal predictions for the full year. However, such job is extremely demanding as it confronts the astrologer with a stream of planetary phenomena that he must track and interpret.

Thomas Gazis, with over thirty years of experience, will be sharing his knowledge with you in this four-hour workshop, so that you can simplify the entire process and deliver the best possible annual (or other time period) predictions!

In addition, Thomas Gazis will make to all participants annual personal predictions for 2025 (lasting about half an hour for each participant). To have these predictions produced for you, you will need to provide your full birth details in advance. THE SYNASTRY OF ELON MUSK AND HIS DYNAMIC TRANSGENDER DAUGHTER VIVIAN!

(This case made the headlines in 2022 but I think it is still relevant.)

If you are experiencing financial burdens then the idea that even billionaires have their own issues may provide you some comfort! I refer to Elon Musk, who has a somewhat tumultuous relationship with his transgender daughter Vivian Wislon. Vivian became a lady by transitioning in 2022 and she also dropped her surname (Musk) in favor of her maternal surname (Wilson) - while she stated that she no longer wishes to be related to her father "in any way!"
Elon is a Cancer Sun sign and Vivian is an Aries Sun sign. As you know, the signs of Aries and Cancer are considered highly discordant. So we are having here a father and child who find it hard to comprehend each other's personality! And things are getting even harder if we take in consideration the fact that Vivian's Sun is forming an almost perfect Square aspect with Elon's Ascendant in Cancer! So, we are already having a major discordance there!

Let's add now the fact that Vivian's Saturn is forming a tight Conjunction with Elon's Sun! That Conjunction has been of paramount importance in their relationship! It is capable of causing rigidity, frigidity and alienation between father and child, with the child becoming some times too critical and judgemental versus their father!

Another element that I consider important in the eventual hostility between a parent and a child is the Eighth House. In fact, Vivian's Moon - Uranus Conjunction is synastrically "falling" here in Elon's Eighth House! The Eighth House is capable of generating tremendous hostility! The kind of hostility that usually surfaces between two people who used to love each other and are now on the brink of divorcing!

Don't get me wrong though, the Eighth House might work fine in a relationship of erotic nature! It normally generates huge amounts of sexual energy and it is capable of profoundly binding the members of an erotic relationship. In a parent's - child's relationship though it might come as a major problem, as the passionate energies of the Eighth House (its poweful sexual energy i.e.) cannot be easily "accomodated" or "sublimated"and thus may cause a tense standoff between a parent and child!

Of course there are other interesting configurations in their Synastry but the above mentioned three seem to be the more interesting - at least to me.

Join us next Wednesday, October 16th for Prof. Thomas Gazis' lecture on the topic "The 12 Hours of the Amduat. Their Astrological Correlations!".

The lecture will take place at 16:00 UTC, 18:00 Central European time, 19:00 Greek and Bulgarian time, and 12:00 pm New York time. It will be held in English, with a simultaneous translation into Bulgarian. Regular university students were already given access to it.
