The German Occupation Museum in Guernsey celebrated it's 60th Anniversary on 1st May, an amazing museum of social history of a very difficult 5 years. The Lt Governor & his wife are holding the cake & the museum owner cut the cake, he's spent his whole life collecting the artifacts. The picture on the cake is the old Guernsey farmhouse in 1966 that is still used to house the collection. I can make WWII mock cream but as it's a special occasion, I used real buttercream🤫.

Apologies if I do not reply fast enough to messages. Please do the old fashioned thing - use the telephone to speak to me. The amount of messages back & forth is causing arthritis flare up /repetitive strain in my hands & wrists and it's very painful. I haven't stopped making cakes and I still meet cake order deadlines.
