A little bit of news about Bagelin.
After six years, five of them in our current home, we’ve decided that it’s time to bring regular service at Bagelin to an end.
Our last regular service will be Monday 31 August.
Bagelin has had a good run. Six years is a long time — we’ve cooked a lot of food, served a lot of people, made a lot of friends, changed the menu more times than we can remember, opened during and survived a pandemic, and had more than a few memorable nights along the way.
At some point, every place reaches the end of its run, and we feel like we’ve reached that point with Bagelin. We’re proud of what we’ve built, grateful for the time we’ve had, and ready to see what comes next.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has walked through the door, brought friends, celebrated birthdays, had work sessions, argued about bagels, eaten sandwiches, drank b**rs, and simply kept coming back.
But this isn't quite goodbye.
We’ll still have the space, and we’ll be using it for pop-ups, events and other things from time to time. So Bagelin will still appear every now and then — just in a slightly different form.
And before regular service comes to an end, we’re throwing one last party on Friday 4 September.
