We are an independent bakery in York. We make and bake fresh bread, pizza, calzone and focaccia dail Delicious, freshly-made food to take away.

Pizza, pasta dishes, biscuits and cakes, barista-style coffee, all made on site!

Fresh ciabatta buns are out of the oven!

These will be used for our hot sandwiches; choose from Bacon, Sausage, or Bacon & Sausage, with choice of red or brown sauce.

Available at both our Bootham & Falsgrave shops daily.

Plenty of sweet treats down at this morning to go alongside the bread, including our classic brownie. It goes very nicely with a coffee as well 😁

We have an opportunity for a new baker to join our team on a part-time basis, 28-32 hours per week (7 days per fortnight), plus additional holiday cover where required!

Bake shifts start at 3am Sunday-Friday & 1am on Saturdays, weekends off are rotated between staff and you won’t work Sat & Sun in one weekend.
Shifts run for 8-9 hours.

Experience in a commercial kitchen is essential, bread baking experience highly desirable however full training will be given.
Sourdough experience / knowledge preferable but again, full training will be given.

Salary from £13.50p/hour, higher for an experienced baker.
