Fun day out a little while back. 😊my absolute pleasure to make these for Anna & Will Anna at the beautiful spot of Goldsborough Hall.

My favourite brief just yet, a honey cake from honey produced by your own honey bees 🐝 !!

This York honey had such lovely delicate and complex flavours, I used it in the soaking of the layers and decorative components so the raw honey doesn’t get lost in the baking process.
Wedding cake for 70 plus was put together block by block on site which is something I always wanted to do. It’s incredibly satisfying to ice a cake on the spot like this, no mistakes possible, just the natural flops and folds of lightly whipped honey-yoghurt cream, I recommend doing this as therapy… anyway this was excellent to make! More of this please! My diary is fairy open for next wedding season. May thanks!☺️
