I have been busy in the Cakery preparing lots of treats for you to grab at the Cake-away this weekend.

The weather for tomorrow looks wet and windy from about lunch time. I'll be open from 10am (earlier if I can manage it) so you can grab your treats before the rain comes down🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

12 Puppy Cupcakes to celebrate a 12th birthday 🎂🐶

Vanilla cupcakes with milk chocolate ganache filling, and vanilla buttercream.

It's was my first time piping Dogs, but I think they look ok (at a distance!! 🤣)

These were arranged on a cake board in the shape of a number 12, instead of the usual cupcake box

♥️ Cake-away Menu ♥️

Here is the menu for this weekend's Cake-away.

I have reduced my opening hours, due to the clocks changing, as it will be dark a lot earlier. So I will now be closing at 6pm.
This will probably change again as we get closer to Christmas. I do have lights outside, but I'm sure you'd all rather be indoors when it's dark.

❣️ Cake-away closed ❣️

That's another weekend of tasty treats over.

I'm going to be honest, I think this has been the quietest weekend the Cake-away has ever had.

I can't be disappointed though. I love baking (it certainly isn't easy!) and even more so when people enjoy what I make 😊
I've had some lovely comments, which really does boost my confidence, so THANK YOU! 🥰

My family is also happy, as there is some left for them too. Not just the crumbs!! 😂

I'm open again next weekend. Same time, same place!

It's been a quiet morning at the Cake-away.

I'm guessing it's due to the Marathon. I've missed watching the runners this year. We used to be able to sit on our garden wall, as we used to live on the route.

There are still plenty of treats available, so please pop by this afternoon.
I'll be open until 7pm 😊

Many thanks to all who came and supported Bakelove Cakery today.

The cookies were very popular today. We sold out of the caramel stuffed cookies, and there is only 1 Jaffa cake stuffed cookie left for tomorrow. If you want it, you'll have to be here early 😜
