Aging like a fine wine! 🍷🍾😉

2 x 10 inch and 2 x 6 inch chocolate fudge cake, filled with milk chocolate ganache and chocolate fudge buttercream, covered in black fondant.
This is such a simple design, but it absolutely made a statement! 👌🏼

A whole year!!!!
Happy 1st birthday Arlo 🥳

This little beauty was a 4 layer (1 x 8 inch, 3 x 6 inch) vanilla sponge, filled with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream, and covered in fondant with a royal icing drip.
I made all the decorations (except for the balloons). The stars, clouds and number one were vanilla sugar cookies, decorated with royal icing.

This cake challenged me, but I am very pleased with the end result.

I received a lovely photo of the birthday boy tucking in a piece of his cake 🥰

❤️ Cake-away update ❤️

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Cake-away will be closed this weekend (30th/31st May)

I apologise for any disappointment this may cause (I'm sad too! 😔)

We will be open again 13/14th June

I do have some spares from today's pop-up Cake-away if anyone is interested?

2 x orange, pistachio & cranberry cookies
4 x oat, raisin & cranberry cookies

2 x kinder Bueno stuffed cookies

Bakes - £3 each
6 x Eton mess rocky road
6 x Dubai brownies
3 x Custard cream blondies

Cake - £3.25 each
4 x Lemon meringue cake
Cupcakes - £2 each
8 x chocolate caramel cupcakes
6 x vanilla 'ice cream' cupcakes

All baked fresh yesterday and today and will be good for 5 days, or they all freeze really well ☺️

Good morning folks,

Here is the menu for tomorrow's pop up Cake-away in Stockton on the Forest.

I am so excited to be popping back to the village with the Cake-away ☺️

📌 I have got permission from Tom at the pub (Thank you!) to park in the pub carpark, but he has asked that you don't use the decking to sit and eat your cake.

⏰ I will be there from 3pm until about 5pm (depending on whether I have enough stock for 2 hours)
It will be pretty much the same set up as at my house, but obviously I will be there (trying not to melt 🫠)

💰 Payment methods are cash, PayPal and bank transfer. Please note that the WiFi isn't that great, so cash will be the easiest method. Unfortunately I do not have the capacity to give change (just as the Cake-away usually works)

If this is well received, I will do it again maybe on a 2 monthly arrangement.

If you are planning on visiting, please give this post a like or comment below, as it will give me an idea of how much to bake.

I really hope you see some of you tomorrow.

Thank you to all my much appreciated customers today. It was a little quieter this weekend, but I still sold about 90% of my stock, which is a win in my eyes 👍🏼☺️

I hope you all enjoyed what you bought?
As always, any feedback, good or bad, is taken positively and is used to improve and move forward.

I do have a few spares if anyone is interested.
These will all be good for another 2-3 days if kept in the fridge, or they will freeze for up to 3 months. So if you're full of sugar now, why not have some stored away for that sugar fix at a later date 😉
