A bit of a different cake! Great fun to build a simulator - very challenging though... Loved doing it and got a great reaction.

Probably the first cake of the summer delivered in the sun. Four tiers with fresh white roses throughout. Had a lot of fun working with real flowers over sugar flowers for a change. Turned out rather nicely I think.

Having ignored facebook and Art in Icing for months I finally feel guilty enough to get back on here! Or possibly I'm just terrified of the prospect of 6 whole weeks of uninterrupted child care duties and I'm desperately trying to find a valid excuse to escape the little darlings...'Mummy is busy too busy working and she can't come and play snakes and ladders for the 25th time today!' Anyway below are a few of the cakes I've done over the last months, and I've just realised they were nearly all for men...I need to do a pretty, girlie one for a change!

A good day at Yeovil wedding fair, which has spurred me on to using facebook for Art in Icing properly! Have just launched a new service creating bespoke stationary, table plans and favours to coordinate with my beautiful bespoke cakes...pictures to follow soon once I have caught up on sleep!
