WE have a vacancy for an early morning packer for four mornings a week.

The role will include sorting and packing our freshly-baked rolls, bread and cakes for our wholesale customers, ready for morning deliveries.

You will also be required to prepare our range of freshly prepared rolls and sandwiches for our shops and wholesale trade and accurately packing and labelling them.

The hours are 2am - 7am, Wednesday to Saturday, based at our bakery in Wessex Road.

Rate of pay is £13 p/hour, four weeks holiday, plus bank holidays.

HERE at the Cake Box Bakery we are not just about cakes (although to be fair, they are pretty amazing! 😍).

Our deliciously soft torpedo rolls, baps and crusty rolls/baguettes and loaves of bread are freshly baked overnight, six days a week.

We supply and deliver to many other local businesses, and can now also offer ready-made filled rolls and sandwiches, wrapped and labelled.

If you want to order your freshly baked rolls in time for your celebration or family get-together then get in touch before 4pm today and we will bake them for you tonight! 😊

We have our range of torpedo, hot dog or jumbo hot dog rolls, all in white or granary.

We also have jumbo baps, deli baps (huge!) and small rolls, in white or granary.

💥 💥💥ANNOUNCEMENT💥💥💥

We are appealing to all our customers to still come and support our small business as roadworks have just been put in place this evening completely blocking off the lower end of Wessex Road 😑

The southbound carriageway coming from Thorne Lane along Larkhill Road has now been closed for the next three weeks and access along Wessex Road from the lower end, linking with Thorne Lane is completely shut in both directions.

💥 However, the good news is that we can still be reached via Eliotts Drive, Greenwood Road and Springfield Road and there is plenty of free parking 💥

The whole parade of shops on Wessex/Greenwood Road depend on our customers to support us through these difficult times, and to have this disruption for another three weeks is very disheartening.

So please, come and keep our little shop busy, along with our cafe in the Quedam. The journey really is worth it 🙏 🧁🍰🎂🍞🥖🥐🥪
