Cake Box Bakery Yeovil

WE are thrilled to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Cake Box next month and have some special offers and giveaways to share with you soon 💎

Nothing much has changed over the years at our bakery in Wessex Road where the Cake Box story began. Our bread, rolls and cakes are still all made by hand, the traditional way, just the way our customers like it.

We would love you to share any memories you have of our bakery over the years, or better still any photographs, and tell us what the Cake Box has meant to you 😊

Today we said goodbye to Brian after serving on the counter at the Cake Box for the last time ❤️

To describe Brian as being one of life's most genuine, supportive and encouraging people is an understatement.

He has helped many of our younger staff members settle into their roles and has been a real champion of the team.

Go and live your best life Brian, we will see you very soon 😊 🩷🧁

A Large part of our business is supplying our delicious bread, rolls and baps (as well as cakes!) to other local businesses in South Somerset.

All freshly baked by our talented team six nights a week, you can guarantee your bread was just a bag of flour less than 12 hours ago.

Our products are all hand-moulded, with no preservatives, and once you have tasted them, you remember just what "proper" bread tastes like 😋🍞🥖🫓🥪

YOUR BACON BAP HAS A CV.

Every morning we get fresh bread, baps & teacakes delivered from The Cake Box.

No sad, processed bread lurking about here. Absolutely not. We have standards. 😂

And every breakfast or bap you buy from us supports THREE small local businesses:

The Village Cafe
Goose Slade Farm Shop 🥓
Cake Box Bakery Yeovil

So technically, that bacon bap is an act of community support.

Go on.

Be a good citizen. Eat the bap. 🥓🍞😂
