WE are looking for our community's fabulous micro-producers to come and join our new Cake Box vision and help fill our shelves with some of your lovely products.🥰

Whether you make the most charming chutneys and joyous jams, produce a darned-good dipping oil, have some oh la la olives, or literally any other edible product which you think would complement our delicious bread, or could be eaten alongside it..

THEN WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!

We want you to be literally on our Somerset/Dorset doorstep so we can bring our customers the "best of local" to the Quedam Shopping Centre, Yeovil and encourage local businesses to support each other.

If you have a product which you think would be a real hit then get in touch via Facebook/Instagram, or email us at [email protected] with product and price lists asap so we can take a look.

*All goods must be labelled and Allergen listed, and producers must be EHO registered.
** Sorry but we do not need cake/cheesecake producers as we have enough of our own 😆

TO our wonderful friends and customers, we have some major news to share with you.

After looking closely at the reality of rising economic costs and the heavy overload of running our current large space in the Quedam we have made the difficult financial and personal decision to close this chapter in our journey.

But this isn’t goodbye – it’s a welcome hello to a brand new Cake Box adventure which we are excited to share with you.

To stay a sustainable business in our 60th anniversary year and keep serving the people and businesses of Yeovil, we are moving to a smaller footprint – still in the Quedam.

We will be reopening in September as a “Grab & Go” shop, which, combined with our ever-increasing range of cakes, bread, savoury pastries and many other new and exciting lines, we are returning to what we do best!

Needless to say, this new direction will not affect our original bakery and shop in Wessex Road, we are doing this to protect our core business and pave the way for the next 60 years so everyone can continue enjoying our delicious products.

Our new shop will be bringing everything you love about the Cake Box, just streamlined and ready to face the new look on the high street.
We will be bringing your favourite coffee blends, signature drinks and beloved pastries, and there will still be tables and chairs outside for you to enjoy your treats.

Watch out for our new takeaway range, and we will also be selling locally-produced goods with a sustainable footprint, along with a full ordering service where a new line of personalised celebration cakes and cupcakes can be ordered and collected within 48 hours.

We will be announcing more details over the next few weeks, so come in and see our friendly team, share a final sit-down inside our café and grab your favourites before we pack up.

We are sad to say goodbye to our café, but as one door close, another one opens, and we have been working hard behind the scenes for the last few months to ensure the transition is as seamless as possible.

Thank you for supporting us through thick and thin, we can’t wait to serve you faster and smarter next month, so stay tuned for a sneak peek of our new space soon.
