🏆 WHAT A DAY AT THE RACE ACROSS YATELEY! 🏃‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Today we were so proud to take part in the very first Race Across Yateley, raising money for two fantastic local charities, Yateley Industries and Harry’s Hat. 🤎

Hosted by Yateley FC, it was such a brilliant day! You could choose to walk or run the course, either solo or as part of a team, with different categories to compete in.

And we have a little something to celebrate… 🥁🥇 THE PARADE BAKESHOP (Team Name - Village Idiots ☺️😬😂) CAME 1ST IN THE WALKING CATEGORY AND BROUGHT HOME THE TROPHY! 🎉

It was lovely to be part of such a fantastic community event, and we’re already looking forward to next year. Hopefully, we can get even more of the Parade Bakeshop team involved!

A massive well done to the organisers and everyone who took part. We hope today raised lots of money for two very worthy causes. 🤎

Same again next year? We’re in! 🙌☕️

☕️ Not to blow our own trumpet or anything… 🎺😂

…but we have been told we make some of the best coffee in Yateley. 👀☕️

And did you know our coffee is locally roasted just down the road in Basingstoke? So every cup is pretty local too. 🤎

But actually, one of our favourite things about The Parade Bakeshop isn’t just the coffee…

It’s watching people come in who didn’t know each other a few months ago, and now everyone seems to know everyone! 🥰

Names are remembered, conversations carry on from the day before, regulars say hello to other regulars, and quite often you’ll walk in and realise you know half the shop. 😂

We seem to have accidentally created our very own little Cheers… (IYKYK)

🎶 Where everybody knows your name… 🎶

And we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🤎

Great coffee. Local coffee. And a little place where everybody knows your name.

☕📍 WHERE IS OUR BAKESHOP CUP THIS WEEK? – WEEK 3

Our little Bakeshop cup has been off exploring Yateley again… ☕👀

After a wander through the woods last week, it’s found itself somewhere new!

But where exactly has it been? 🤔

We think plenty of you will recognise this one… but we’re not giving you any clues! 😂

Take a good look at the photo and see if you can tell us exactly where in Yateley our cup is sitting. 📍

And as always, bonus points for any memories or stories about this part of Yateley from years gone by. 🤎

Get guessing below 👇

We’ll reveal the answer next Monday and see if we can uncover a little bit of history about the location too.

☕🤎 The Parade Bakeshop – one cup, lots of Yateley adventures!
