THIS is why the Pecan Pie Brownie is officially staying on the menu 🤎

When I said it was one of the best brownies I’ve made in over 20 years of baking… I meant it. But hearing you lot say it too makes me SO happy!

The response to this brownie has been absolutely incredible, so I think it’s safe to say… the Pecan Pie Brownie isn’t going anywhere!

It’s officially staying on the menu throughout autumn and winter 🍂🤎

I absolutely had to share this. 🤍

Not only because this lovely lady Mrs B's Coffee Shop left us such a gorgeous review, but because I genuinely loved meeting her.

Five years ago, she was me — building her business, figuring it all out and putting everything she had into making it work. And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE seeing where she is now. She’s built such a successful business and her breakfasts are so popular — it’s honestly so lovely to see.

It was also just really lovely to meet someone who was so kind, so sweet and so willing to give me some absolutely fantastic advice. The sort of advice that can only really come from someone who has been there and done it.

And then, on top of all of that, she went away and made this lovely video about Number Two Bakes. 🥹

Running a small business means you’re constantly thinking about the next bake, the next trading day and the next thing you need to do, but meeting her really made me think about where Number Two Bakes could be in five years’ time.

Thank you so much for your lovely words, your advice and for taking the time to do this. It genuinely meant a lot to me.

And considering how much I keep hearing about those breakfasts, I think I definitely need to pop in and try one for myself very soon! 🩷💙

A thick, fudgy blondie loaded with Oreo and white hazelnut spread. Creamy, chocolatey, ridiculously gooey and SO good.

A super soft lemon cake topped with whipped buttercream, plenty of zingy lemon curd and finished with a buttery shortbread crumb.

Sweet, sharp, creamy, crumbly… basically everything you want from a lemon cake.

Sometimes the simple flavours are the BEST.

But Vicky is officially packed up and the van is CLOSED for today!

Thank you SO much to everyone who came down. It’s been such a busy day, we’ve sold out of loads, there were queues, and it was so lovely seeing so many of you again.

While Vicky has been holding the fort in the van, I’ve been back in the kitchen getting VERY busy replacing everything you lot have eaten today. 😂

And tomorrow… we do it ALL OVER AGAIN.

We’ve got a very strong feeling Saturday is going to be a big one after how busy today was, so we are going FULLY STOCKED.

The van will be packed with as much as we can physically fit in it, including more of the bakes we sold out of today — and of course our 4 FOR £14 deal is on again.

This one is ridiculous.

A super fudgy chocolate brownie, loaded with Snickers, topped with peanut butter and then loaded with more Snickers because apparently we have no self control when it comes to our brownies 😂

Chocolate, caramel, peanuts and peanut butter all in one brownie… it’s definitely not a subtle one.

It’s on the van today at Yate Shopping Centre and, even better, it’s included in our 4 bakes for £14 deal!

We’re here until 2:30pm or sell out — and judging by this morning, I wouldn’t leave it too late 👀
