Did you know that you can buy Gluten Free bakes (or my normal cakes) directly from me? Home bakery based in Aislaby all you have to do is message on a Monday for collection/ delivery on the Thursday - easy !
These yummy cakes were delivered out locally today - and… we cater for corporate too!

So this is the Gluten Free Flour I’m testing for bread - I tested samples this at today’s market and it went down really well - it reminded customers of a ‘stottie’ texture and tasted like normal bread and have been asked to bring and sell it next time -It’s a long proving time of 3-4 hours - the previous one I baked was a brown light texture using a combination of 3 flours plus psyllium husk with a proving time of only an hour.

When Simply Yummy started out on the Gluten Free (plus Dairy Free and a bit of Vegan thrown in!) baking journey who knew in such a short time it would be as rewarding as it’s been for both myself and for those with intolerances and allergies.

I get so much pleasure when customers come up to my stall asking if there is anything Gluten Free they can have-,and when I say everything on the stall is GF , for them it’s like birthdays and Xmases come together especially when they try the taste !

We now also have a few GF weddings in the diary which is quite exciting -
