✨ GATSBY GLAMOUR 🍸
This beauty was created for a roaring 1920s celebration - rich ombré purple ruffles with shimmering gold accents. Elegant, dramatic, and unapologetically glam ✨

The client said, “I trust you, do your thing"... which is both flattering and slightly terrifying in equal measure 😅 But honestly, that kind of trust is everything, and I never take it lightly. Thank you for letting me run wild with my imagination - it is always an honour.

So yesterday was my birthday and I had the sweetest surprise I could have ever asked for - this little beauty was decorated by my 7 year old son, with his own hands, his own ideas, and so much love poured into every swirl.
The colours, the layers, the “rose design” were all chosen by a little boy who simply wanted to make his mama smile. And he did. Completely. 🥹

Being a cake maker means I create beautiful things for other people every day, but this reminded me why baking is so powerful. It is love. It is care. It is connection.

I am so lucky to be his mama. He is the sweetest boy with the biggest heart, and I will treasure this cupcake forever (by which I mean the photo, since I am eating the cupcake as I type 😂)

THISTLES - Bold. Spiky. Beautiful... sound familiar? 😉

I had my first thistle cupcake request for a Scottish celebration last week, and I was SO excited... at least for the first hour 🫠
Fast forward many, many hours later: my hands were screaming, my fingers were questioning my life choices, and early onset arthritis was waving hello 👋😂

BUT you know you love what you do when you're applying ice packs to aching hands with a big smile while marvelling at the gorgeous little buttercream beasts you have created 😅

🍂✨ Today’s sunny weather is exactly why autumn is my favourite season of them all. It is easy to forget when everything feels grey, rainy and a bit miserable... but today is the perfect example of a crisp autumnal day done right 🥰

The colours in this cupcake bouquet are some of my absolute favourites because they capture the beauty of the season so well - rich, warm and completely irresistible... just like autumn itself (and hopefully my cakes too 😉) 🧁🍁

🍋 When Life Gives You Lemons… Make a Wedding Cake! 🍋
(and this lovely couple certainly did love all things lemon 😁)

I had the pleasure of creating this beautiful lemon toned wedding cake for one of the nicest couples I have ever met. Lemon sponge with lemon buttercream, dressed with soft ivory flowers and finished with navy ribbon accents.

It was also my first time making offset cake tiers and I must say - I think I am love with the look! 😍

Wishing the newlyweds a lifetime of joy, laughter, and many more slices of cake.
