It’s been a while since I properly introduced myself on here, so I’m Lowri, the face behind Lowri’s Bake Box 👋🏼

I run my little baking business from my home in Bangor on Dee, just outside Wrexham.

I started baking back in 2014, originally making cupcakes before moving on to celebration cakes.

Over the years my business has changed and grown alongside me. In 2022 I started making more brownies, blondies, cookies and other small bakes and that same year I bought my horsebox, which I converted so I could head out to local markets and events. It’s definitely been one of my favourite additions to the business!
Following that, I decided to convert our garage into my own little home bakery to have my own space outside of the house.

Away from baking, I’m a wife, mum to two girls and a cat mum, life is usually pretty busy!

It’s quite surreal to think that what started with cupcakes in my kitchen all those years ago has turned into my own home bakery, supplying my bakes locally and taking my horsebox out to events. There have been lots of changes along the way, but I’m so grateful that I still get to call this my job. 🥰

And if you’ve ever bought a cake from me, picked up one of my bakes, visited me at a market, recommended my business or even just followed along on here — thank you. Whether you’ve been here a while or you’re brand new, every bit of support for my little business really does mean so much. 🤎

Felt like I hadn’t made cupcakes in weeks and weeks and then they all came at once 👀 nice little mix of orders that went out last week ☺️ now on to this week which consists of the weekly bake restocks, some samples going out and quite a few celebration cakes, let’s go 🙌🏼
