I’ve had a “making desserts fancy” kit for ages and haven’t ever given it a go, thought i would try it out with a bit of leftover cake and buttercream. It’s all Masterchef looking and everything!!

A new cake recipe today, definitely one of the trickier ones... A “Jaffa Cake Cake” .

Inside are 2 layers of gooey, dark chocolate orange sponge made with buttermilk and freshly brewed coffee which really gives it that extra depth and a good kick of richness!!

In between the sponges is a layer of orange jelly, which gives the cake a little wobble!!! Then coated in chocolate buttercream and topped with orange buttercream swirls, more chocolate and of course.... Jaffa Cakes!

Made some shortbread biscuits today because I fancied trying out a new recipe. Decided to turn them into a dessert and dunk them in natural yoghurt that I’d stirred some lovely fresh strawberries through and then sprinkled over a cheeky spoonful of chocolate curls . 😋

30 more cupcakes out of the door today. A small selection of gluten free in there as well. For a well deserved end of school year, social distanced get together for some fantastic teachers who have been more than outstanding, supporting and educating our children always, but especially for the last 5 months.

There is literally nothing healthy about this plate! Chocolate Tiffin is totally delicious, really easy to make and one at a time is more than enough and completely worth it! 🍫 😋

My daughter asked for a chocolate cake with no icing, just melted chocolate and a few sweets maybe..this is the end product! Love a bundt cake! 💓

Home made ginger nuts, so easy to make and they taste twice as scrummy as the ones you can buy. Even dipped a few in some left over dark chocolate I had in the cupboard, best thing ever! 😋
