Goodbye for now.. ❤️

It’s time for a change. Over the last few months, orders have really slowed down, which has given me time to reflect. I could either adapt my business to find a new niche, and promote myself more to reach new customers, or let it naturally slow down on its own. I went with the latter and have surprisingly felt glad to have the extra time back… and I think that’s ok.

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported my business since I started in August 2022, and to all the wonderful small businesses I have met and had the pleasure of standing alongside. You have inspired me so much, and are the most incredible, talented, and kind people.

Having never planned on starting a business, especially a baking business, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster. There’s been lots of tough lessons learnt, and finding myself overcommitting and overstretching myself too frequently (I also work four days a week in a very busy job, and have a very energetic toddler). But I have also learnt that I am braver than I thought, achieving things that I wouldn’t have ever been able to do a few years ago. So I’m proud of myself.

Sharon at believed in me and helped get me started at my first markets, which I have enjoyed so much, and am very appreciative of.

So I am going to step away - to stop taking orders and attending markets, and just enjoy baking for the joy of it again for my family and friends, like it was always ever supposed to be for me. But who knows what the future might hold.

So for now this is goodbye, but a huge thank you and hope to see you again one day soon.

Boo! 👻

I’m sadly not going to be at Findon Valley farmers market this weekend, so instead I’ll be offering Halloween treat boxes instead!

Available for collection Sunday 29 October afternoon.

Perfect for a small Halloween party or a spooky movie night, £20 for 6 full size treats in delicious flavours (details in image).

Flower fairy cake 🧚‍♀️

This cake went to a very special 3rd birthday celebration at the weekend.

Inside was a classic chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, and decorated with vanilla buttercream, sprinkles, and lots of beautiful decorations to complete the design.
