Who doesn’t want freshly baked yummy treats in walking distance from their home?
Unfortunately, I have stopped my pop up stalls in the lovely community I grew up in. Simply because Bassetlaw District council introduced a street trading licence…£1,000 a year fees and this was just for one pop up location.
As a small business this is where I would meet new customers and get my name out there. It was always done professionally with a food hygeine licence, allergy information and in a safe area causing no disruption.
But they like to make our lives hard so that still wasn’t enough.
I would love to be able to offer pop up stalls again or maybe one day open up a cake shed, but to do that I need your support🫶🏼
