Beauchamp Terry’s Cheesecake in the press!!

Hello, how are you? ☺️

You may (or quite possibly may not!) have noticed I haven’t posted on here for a while… After having Zara I returned to the world of words and launched Clementine and Creative…

However! I’m here to talk about our shared love of cheesecakes this morning and in particular, Terry’s getting in touch to post about this one! 🤩

I’ve closed the Beauchamp Bakes kitchen for a couple of reasons - one being that the cost of making cheesecakes (like everything else!) has sky rocketed and I’d have to charge £40+ per cake which I didn’t think was fair or would be very favourable...

So I just wanted to thank YOU again for your orders and support. Cheesecakes are simply the best and I hope you enjoy a slice of one this weekend!!

Raspberry and White Chocolate Cheesecake ~>
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
…Proving super popular this summer! And summer is well and truly here!! ☀️

I decided to shake up a few things with this one:
~> More white chocolate filling for a creamier slice
~> Freeze dried raspberries in addition to fresh
~> A white chocolate drip made with white chocolate and double cream, inspired by Jane's Patisserie! I was a little nervous because there’s no hiding once you’re at the decorating stage and this was for a special occasion, BUT, the ganache did it’s thing!! 🙌🏼

This circle of goodness has just been collected so it’s time to make a Biscoff (my fave!)… I’d happily sit with the whole thing and a fork and just tuck IN! Have you ever done this? 😄

Happy Sunday!! I hope you’ve been able to enjoy the sunshine? Although for any fellow hay fever sufferers, the pollen count seems to have been off the scale today?! 🤧☀️

A little update… Over here in Shelsley my little fridge, bakes and I officially branched out!!

Behind the scenes it was a team effort (thank you SO much), and thank you to the lovely stallholders at Teme Valley Market… This morning whizzed by!

It has been a super busy day in the kitchen today and there is an even busier one planned tomorrow because… A little dream is turning into a reality on Sunday!! 🤩

Thank you so much to everyone at the Teme Valley Market for being so friendly and allowing me to join in this weekend! The sun looks like it will be shining and all I can say (because I can’t believe I am writing this) is that I really look forward to seeing you there! Lucy x

Hello from the face behind the bakes ->

I have just been looking through pictures of recent bakes and it suddenly dawned on me that I haven’t introduced myself to any new Beauchamp Bakes followers! So here is a big hello from me, Lucy: daughter, wife, new mummy, friend etc etc and an absolute cheesecake fanatic! 👋🏼

My love of baking (and all food in general) began early on as you can see from the second picture… Luckily I have only nurtured this love over the years and not my childhood mixing bowl-like haircut! 😂

My husband, our five month old daughter, cocker spaniel and I live in Shelsley Beauchamp, Worcestershire; hence the name Beauchamp Bakes, which I launched early 2021 after being spurred on by family, friends and a course with Tara Punter Coaching. You know those thing(s) which really make you tick? Well for me it’s copywriting (my full time job), horse riding and baking… 🧑🏻‍🍳 Seeing customers’ faces as they open their cheesecake boxes or receiving a message from holiday home guests after they’ve tucked into a welcome brownie is just brilliant!!

I am conscious I haven’t been posting as regularly recently… Training baby sous chef is happening as quickly as poss., (!) however thank YOU for following and ordering… Farmers markets, new bakes and more are to come! 👀 In the meantime, if you are taking a pud to Jubilee celebrations next week and are stuck for time, I have x2 spaces left and would love to help!
