Meet Gus 😁 🐲

Awarded gold and 3rd place in sculpted / carved category at Cake International held at Birmingham NEC last weekend.

Everything you see was sculpted from cake - including the toadstools!

I loved every minute making him (and there were many!) and already have a design in mind for next year!

When your best friend TELLS you “you’re making her wedding cake…” and then you remember she’s not only placed several times at Cake International but has also won Best in Show for WEDDING CAKES! 🏆🍰

No pressure at all then…..😬

We have been friends for more years than I care to count and often joke that she has lingered like a bad smell! In truth, I could not imagine life without her and she is my biggest cheerleader. Wishing her and her husband a lifetime of happiness, love and laughter ♥️

Thankfully, love (and A LOT of coffee) pulled me through — and here’s the result 💕✨
