Welcome to Maeve’s. We’re an independent, family-run café located on the Thoroughfare in Woodbridge. We’re also dog-friendly.

We have four rooms offering seating and a beautiful courtyard garden, perfect for dining alfresco.

Bank Holiday Weekend at Maeve’s 🎶

Come and celebrate with us this Bank Holiday weekend! Our live music events are always popular, so here’s what we have planned:

🎤 Saturday: Jade performing from 12pm–2pm Jade Mayjean

🎤 Monday: MJ Soul performing from 12pm–2pm Mjsoul

We’ll be serving food and drinks all day, with our brunch menu available throughout the day.

Opening hours:
+ Saturday: 9am - 4pm
+ Sunday: 9am - 3pm
+ Monday: 9am - 3pm

We recommend arriving early to grab a seat, as it can get busy and we are not taking bookings this weekend - it will be based on a first come first serve basis. So whether you’d like to relax with a coffee, enjoy some brunch or get up and have a dance, we’d love to see you!

Maeve’s is a family run and independent business - so it’s important to us to collaborate with local organisations for our events and produce wherever possible. We’re passionate about good-quality food and always want to give you the very best. So we thought we’d take a moment to tell you exactly where your food is coming from.

If you take a closer look at our menu, you’ll see that we’re proud to tell you where we source our ingredients.

+ Our sausages are provided by Proctors, based in Ipswich. They’re incredibly tasty and we’re always receiving amazing feedback about them. Procter’s Sausages

+ Our bread comes from Acre Farm & Bakery in Framlingham. It never disappoints and is always a hit with our customers. ACRE FARM + BAKERY

+ Our coffee beans are roasted by Crude in Bury St Edmunds - ethically sourced roastery known for its smooth, rich flavour and perfectly balanced roast. Which is why your coffee always tastes superb. Crude Coffee Roasters

+ The Felixstowe Fishmonger – supplying our smoked fish, bringing the best of the Suffolk coast straight to Maeve’s. The Felixstowe Fishmonger

+ Anglia Produce. They provide our fresh fruit, vegetables and other seasonal produce, helping us keep our menus fresh and seasonal. Anglia Produce

+ M&M Butchers - supplying our meat and always sourced with quality in mind.

Together, these local suppliers allow us to keep our ingredients as local as possible, support other independent businesses in the area and serve our customers food that reflects the produce and people of Suffolk.

Yesterday… 💛

What a special day.

We just want to say a huge thank you to every single person who came to celebrate with us yesterday. The love, support, and kindness you showed us is something we’ll never forget. Your thoughtful gifts, cards, and lovely words mean the world to everyone at Maeve’s. It reminds us how lucky we are that so many people choose to spend their time with us and support what we do.

There was a queue out the door for most of the day, so thank you for your patience while we celebrated. Seeing so many familiar faces (and lots of new ones too!) made our THIRD birthday one we’ll never forget.

Here’s to the next 3 years… we can’t wait to share what’s coming next. Watch this space! ✨

Happy birthday to us, what a three years it’s been! We cannot thank you enough for your continued support. The love you show us every single day is everything we have ever wanted and it never goes unnoticed. Each customer is part of our story and without you guys, all of this wouldn’t be possible. Maeve’s goal has been the same from the start - to provide a calm space for people to get together and enjoy being with their friends, eating food and drinking excellent quality coffee. We are so proud to have built such a fantastic community and will continue our passion by providing you with the best of everything.

Good Morning Everyone ✨

We’ve welcomed a lot of new followers recently, so we thought we’d take a moment to introduce ourselves and tell you a little more about Maeve’s 🤍

We’re a local, independent, family-run café in the beautiful town of Woodbridge. Since opening our doors in 2023 our aim has always been simple: to create a welcoming space where friends, families and our local community can come together over great coffee and delicious food.

Our team are passionate about serving quality coffee and freshly prepared food, but above all, making sure every customer is greeted with a warm smile and friendly atmosphere.

Whether you’re popping in for breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee and cake or simply a catch-up with friends, we’ve got something for everyone. We offer indoor and outdoor seating, including our beautiful garden, we are dog-friendly, cater for all dietary requirements, offer a selection of delicious homemade cakes, air conditioning areas, disabled access, free WiFi (because we all know how unreliable the signal can be in Woodbridge!) and we are open every day from 9am–4pm.

Maeve’s is about more than great food and drink. Throughout the year we host a variety of events that bring our community together, including our popular Supper Nights where you can enjoy incredible cuisine inspired by countries around the world. We also run monthly children’s book clubs in partnership with Woodbridge Books, seasonal celebrations for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, live music afternoons and much more. Finally, we’d just like to say thank you. Your support means the world to us. Every follow, like, comment and visit helps support small independent businesses and we’re incredibly grateful to have such an amazing community behind us.

M E E T T H E T E A M ✨

With our 3rd Birthday coming up, we thought it’s about time we gradually introduced you to our lovely team. So, first up…let’s meet the owner!

The heart and soul behind Maeve’s, Pulkit (the perfectionist 😉). The dreamer with a vision, the coffee lover who brought Maeve’s to life and the person who rarely leaves the coffee machine's side.

Pulkit doesn't really need an introduction as most of our customers already know him very well, but it’s about time he had his own space on the grid.

Since opening Maeve’s in 2023, he's created more than just a coffee shop. Pulkit has built a place where everyone is welcomed with a smile, where people can slow down for a while and where every coffee is made with care and attention to detail.

But coffee is only part of the story.

Pulkit's passion for food is just as strong. From creating Supper Nights that bring people together around one table, to carefully crafting dishes on the menu with Head Chef Pete that celebrate fresh, locally sourced ingredients, every plate is designed with flavour at its heart. He believes great food starts with quality produce, thoughtful combinations and sharing it with good company.

Whether it's your morning coffee, a freshly made brunch or an evening spent at one of our Supper Nights, his goal has always been the same - to create a space where people feel connected, looked after and part of the Maeve’s community.

Maeve’s has never just been about coffee or food or cakes or pastries - it's always been about people and community where food is to be enjoyed, to meet up with friends and to just sit with a lovely cup of coffee.

And if you know Pulkit, you'll know he's just getting started…

We are open 9-4pm, serving breakfast 9-11:30 and lunch from 12-2:30pm.
