Dear customers, staff (old and new) and friends,
Today marks the last day of trading for the cake shop and it brings about the closure of our beloved family business which has been in Woodbridge since Jonty and Mim Wright came down from Northumberland in 1945 and opened on the market hill.
To all of you, we extend our heartfelt thanks for supporting us over the years and for the many wonderful memories we will cherish of our time in the town.
A huge thank you to all the many members of staff who have worked for us over the years and the special friendships we still have with many of you. We are so glad our current staff have all managed to get jobs and wish you only the best for the future.
The cake shop has not just been a business to us as a family, but a whole way of life. Peter has always had a passion for the work he has done and has always maintained that he wanted everyone to be able to afford and enjoy good bread and cakes. I hope we have achieved this both in the past and today.
So, with a heavy heart we say goodbye and once again, thank you all ❤️❤️

We are looking for a part time van driver/packer.
The job will entail driving two days a week, a Tuesday and Saturday, start time 5.30am and finishing when all deliveries are out.
This will also include packing on certain days when needed. This job roles start time will be 3.00am until all packing is finished.
Candidate Must have a full driving license and be over the age of 25.

Just a reminder that we are closed Sunday and bank holiday Monday, so any orders placed after midday today (Saturday) will not be ready for collection/delivery until Wednesday 7th April.

To our lovely customers,
With the new lock down rules, we will be changing a few things at the shop to ensure our customers and staff are safe and can continue to supply you with yummy goodies.
We will now only be serving from the door, we will not be permitting customers into the shop for the foreseeable.
Our closing times will be changing with immediate effect, we will now be closing the shop around 1.00pm, so any orders will need to be collected by midday. Please remember you can still order online at www.cake shop bakery.co.uk and choose local delivery. Orders need to be in by midday if you would like next day collection/delivery.

To our lovely customers,
Thank you for being so supportive this year, even with everything that has been going on ❤️
We would just like to let you all know, we will be closed Friday 1st January and also Saturday 2nd January (we promise it’s not because we will drink too much New Year’s Eve).
So any orders for Monday 4th January will need to be in by midday on Thursday, anything after this time will be ready for Tuesday 5th of January.
Have a relaxing new year and may 2021 bring you all a piece of happiness.
