MK SOUP

MK SOUP Based on the Detroit Soup model, this is small crowdfunding for the community, by the community.

Based on the Detroit Soup model, MK SOUP is a meeting place for people who would like to make the world a better place - whether through food, art, community action, sustainability or another exciting idea. On the evening of MK SOUP you buy a £5 ticket for a bowl of homemade soup and in return, you get to listen to a number of people pitch their community ideas. At the end of the night, the crowd

votes for its favourite idea and the winner takes the profit of the night. Two months later, the group then hears back about what has been achieved with the money. MK SOUP takes place at Foundation House on The Square in Wolverton. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come along - you turn up on the night, and for £5 you get a bowl of soup, a chunk of bread, good company and a vote to change the world! MK SOUP is a joint collaboration between MK Christian Foundation and MK Food Revolution.
