Brown Bear Bakery We are a family run business offering bespoke, handmade celebration cakes and cupcakes, catering for all your special events.

I started baking for family and friends, eventually making a wedding cupcake tower for my brother. This was when I realised I could create a business doing something I loved! I have completed many courses, culminating in obtaining my PME Professional Diploma in cake decorating. I'm passionate about developing new flavours and learning new techniques. My favourites list is quite long, but this is definitely up there. Not just because of the beautiful autumnal colours (I love Autumn!), but because it was for a client I’ve been supplying for years and absolutely adore. From the design to the final details, everything about this cake was a joy to create. It’s those lovely clients and meaningful projects that make what I do so rewarding.

Over the past few years, Brown Bear Bakery has grown in ways I never expected. Alongside a small amount of private orders, I’ve been busy supplying a number of corporate clients — something I’m really proud of, but not something that was ever part of the plan when I started.

Now, as life changes, I’m choosing to refocus on what made me start this business in the first place: scaling back slightly, and going back to creating beautiful designs for private clients.
