🌞 Saturday - Sunny baking in Wivenhoe, sunny market in Manningtree, the monthly Alresford market AND a fabulous fete at St Mary's Church in Wivenhoe.

🌤 Sunday - cloudy cakes in Wivenhoe. We're in Rowhedge AGAIN! And, don't miss the hot and cool Old Heath Recreation Ground market.

🇧🇻 Norwegian Bakers will be outside Rowhedge Village Hall tomorrow from 10am to 2pm.

The first of many stalls there, we hope. Put the following dates in your diary too:

Rowhedge Village, can you guess where we'll have a stall on Sunday?

We are outside the Village Hall, facing the football pitches, from 10am to 2pm.

This is our new home. Thank you to Jonby and Laura for hosting us for two years and thank you to Trevor and the committee for making the move so easy.

We'll be at the Village Hall on 7th and 21st June too; and, 5th and 19th July. Put it on your calendar.

I’m so sorry for the lack of posts and replies to messages lately.
I’m currently in Norway as my dad had a fall and broke his hip the first of May.
Everything looked like it was healing but a week and a half ago he was rushed to hospital again with a severe infection in his blood and he had to have a new surgery to clean out around the prosthetic. It looked very critical for a few days but today I’ve taken him for a long walk around the hospital, in a wheelchair, and he enjoyed an ice cream 😋

Fingers crossed for better results on his blood tests and that he will recover well 💕

The Norwegian Bakers team have been doing an amazing job since I went to Norway 🇳🇴

It means so very much to me that I can be here and support the man who spent weeks sitting awake with me on his arms when I was a tiny baby with collic. The man who with tears in his eyes was putting sticky plasters on my knees when I got hurt 💕

I’m hoping to get back to Colchester in a weeks time 🤞🏻

It’s been 8 degrees, wind and rain here 🙃

Luscious summer fruits in our bake of the week, so come over to Budgens in Elmstead Market today.

Tomorrow, we'll be selling outside and outside The Prettygate Pub - Colchester.

We will be outside the CO-OP for all you on the Wivenhoe Community Notice Board on Saturday and Sunday again.

Plus, it's the Manningtree market for all those on Manningtree, Mistley and District Shout Out and Sunday is Lavenham Farmers' Market.

Last but not least, Tendring Hall opens it's gardens on Sunday and Monday afternoons, raising money for RNLI and we'll be there, in the magnificent grounds.

Enjoy the Bank Holiday with a peaceful walk with nature ... and some lovely sweet ad savoury baking, as well.
