Well what a lots been bought , baked and sold over the last 12 weeks !
It’s been great folks but it’s come to the end , closing the stable hatch only yesterday !!
The Dun Cow Deli team have loved seeing and serving you all ... it really did keep me sane so THANK YOU ! Thank you for your custom , your patience when queuing in the early days and your chats and smiles !! What a fabulously supportive community we live in !!
Big big thanks go to Janet for all her help especially initially with clearing the restaurant . Thanks too to Mark , Paul and Graham for bringing the freezers home . Big thanks to my extended Dun Cow Deli team of Paula , Anna ,Naomi and Sean for help with the sweet treats !
Obviously huge thanks to Tom and Fiona without whose help I couldn’t have done it !!!!
I loved getting to meet lots of new faces .. from far and wide , Eynsham , Cote , Bampton , Ducklington , even Burford 😉
I’ll miss your visits .. in fact it’s only Sunday and it already feels odd ... but at least now we can visit each other ... so don’t let’s become strangers again !
All that’s left to say is stay safe , sane and of course well !!!

le menu tomorrow includes :
Steak Pasties
Chorizo sausage rolls
Quiche lorraine , quiche saumon and a la Greque
Ratatouille pithiviers
And on the sweet front
Summer fruit tarts , Brownies , cookies . Rocky road and new blueberry muffins !!! Salad stuffs, cheese and rose wine !!!!

Hi all ...

Things are changing here at The Dun Cow Deli *

With shopping and deliveries easing I have somewhat reluctantly decided to move away from selling fresh items such as milk , eggs , fruit and vegetables ...
Though some of you still visit often and shop a lot, stocking fresh items is a tricky balancing act ... so

*As from this week I will just be open Fridays and Saturdays only , 10.30-1 *

🍞 🥐 🥟 🍪 🍰 🍕🍦

I will concentrate on my cooked items of quiche , pasties , pizzettas and sweet treats , as well as ice cream for the children and of course wine for the Grown ups . I still have aweird n wonderful collection of dry store items from the restaurant , so if you run out of something it’s still woth giving me a try!!

I’m extremely grateful to all of you for your support and custom ; helping you all helped me to get through this initial period too !!
I do hope you’ll understand that I need to reduce the time I spend on the Deli so that I can focus on trying to keep PV afloat ! We need to start to try to plan the somewhat unplanable future of Pierre Victoire !!!

Today, Monday I’n open selling off some fresh items at cost ...
such as
Butter at £1.50 pack
Milk at £1.40 2 litres
Asparagus £2.40 bunch
Corn £1.00 a cob
And other fresh fruit n veg

Now until 1 ... ring the bell if I’m not evident 🛎

I’ve loved playing shop keeper to you all... moving on to baker that’s all ...
Soon hopefully restaurateur again!

Fresh in again today as requested .. local asparagus ,sweet corn and today flat peaches ... we can’t go to Spain but looks like Spain can come to us 👏🏼
I’ve got a selection quiche, pithiviers, pasties and sweet goodies today too !!

Today’s specials blueberry and strawberry tart and pizzettas ... for the meat eaters Pepperoni and for others spinach , mushroom and goats cheese.. as well as my usual selection of mini quiches , pithiviers and pasties ... ice creams of course now too 😉🍦
