4 years of Little Peony Cakes ✨
What started in my home kitchen after training as a chef and dreaming of building my own business has now become over 50 weddings, partnerships at 7 beautiful venues, countless consultations that feel more like catch ups with friends, and somehow… surviving every summer heatwave as a buttercream artist (most recently having a wedding cake outside on the hottest May on record 🫣 don’t worry it was perfect!)
But genuinely, one of the things I’m most proud of over the last 4 years is the connection I’ve built with every single one of my couples 🥰
I know people always say this, but I truly do feel like so many of my couples become friends by the end of the process. Being trusted with such a special part of your wedding day is something I’ll never take lightly ❤️
I’ve always believed a wedding cake should be more than just something beautiful to look at. It should create a moment. The moment everyone gathers around, the moment the celebration truly begins, the moment that feels intimate, exciting, and completely personal to you.
To every couple who has trusted me to create that moment for them, thank you 🫶🏻 Thank you for inviting me into your wedding plans, trusting my creativity, sharing your ideas with me, and allowing me to create something that becomes such a focal point of your day.
4 years later and I’m still just as excited as I was when I first started, when I finally get to see our vision come together on your wedding day.
