The super cute Dotty was 1 today! I've wanted to make a 'very hungry catapillar' cake for ages but never had one ordered! Tried to keep to the original style of colouring from the book as far as possible... super pleased with how it turned out (Credit: The very hungry catapillar by Eric Carle and illustrated by Eric Carle)

These golden cupcakes went out for a special 50th birthday. Matching the wedding cupcakes in flavour that I made her a few years ago, we went for red velvet and cream cheese buttercream, lemon sponge with lemon curd filling and vanilla sponge with salted caramel filling. Complete with little golden sprinkles. Yum!
