📅 Date & time: From 22:00 hours on Thursday 10th September until 05:00 hours on Friday 11th September 2026

📍 Location: Eton Square from access road at the rear of 45 High Street eastward to the eastern boundary of No 1 Eton Square

🚫 Alternative Route: There is no alternative route available

💬 Reasons: To facilitate repair and service of sewer monitors

Upcoming Road Closure - 1 Sep 20:00 - 4 Sep 06:00

B3022 Slough Road - resurfacing

Closure of B3022 Slough Road from its junction with B3026 Keates Lane to its junction with B3026 Pococks Lane.

Closure in place each night between 20:00 and 06:00 to facilitate resurfacing works.

Another temporary closure has been scheduled in by Bucks County Council for Wednesday 26th August between 9am and 7pm. Lake End Road towards Village Road will be closed for re-surfacing. Diversions will be put in place.

⚠️ ADVANCED WARNING OF ROAD CLOSURE ⚠️

Marlborough Highways, on behalf of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead, will be undertaking essential maintenance works to the cattle grid on Eton Wick Road on Thursday 27th August 2026.

The works will involve lifting the cattle grid units and undertaking welding and other repairs and will require the closure of Eton Wick Road.

Eton Wick Road will be closed from west of Tilstone Avenue to the access to Manor Farm on Common Road on Thursday 27th August between 09:00 and 16:00.

Fire near Meadow Lane – a message from Eton Town Council

Following the fire on the fields near Meadow Lane yesterday, we wanted to say a huge thank you to the incredible firefighters and emergency services who responded so quickly and worked hard to contain the fire.
With our summers becoming increasingly hot and dry, today is also an important reminder for all of us to be fire aware. Please take extra care when enjoying our open spaces – never leave barbecues unattended, don’t discard ci******es or matches on dry grass, take rubbish home and never attempt to tackle a wildfire yourself.
If you see a fire in the open, move to a safe place and call 999.
