Now here's a lovely idea to start the week.

Individuals, families, community groups, churches, schools, and local businesses are invited to be part in Fabric of Wi******er, a community quilt project where they can ‘donate’ a memory, either by gifting a piece of fabric or clothing which holds special meaning, stitching a square, or buying a bespoke square featuring their business logo or company name.

Quilts will then be lovingly put together at community sewing days organised by St John's Wi******er.

Once made, they'll be donated to Wi******er Hospice as a gift from the community.

Heritage Open Day week is here! We're excited for our talks on Wednesday with Peter Martindale, who worked on the restoration of our first floor fireplace.

If you haven't been fortunate enough to get a ticket, don't worry, we'll be sharing more information via our social media in the next week. In the meantime, pop in and pick up a leaflet to learn a little bit about our building's history.
