And that’s a wrap on 2024 ✨

It’s been a quieter one with the arrival of my baby girl but such a special time, I’ve worked as much as possible given the circumstances and I’m truly thankful to all of my customers and wedding couples for your patience and support in this season of the business 🫶🏻

I cannot wait to create more beautiful cakes next year, but for now I am signing out for the festive season. Time to recharge (as much as I can with a baby in tow) and work on plans for 2025 xx

Reminiscing over this green & gold number I created last year for a wintery celestial styled shoot .

- Opt for a coloured bow in a delicate silk or satin ribbon…a simple, subtle way to incorporate colour into your cake.
- Go for a colourful textured buttercream design, the design options are endless.
- Go bold and opt for one or all tiers to match your main wedding colour or one of your complimentary wedding colours.
- Add metallics such as gold/silver/bronze

✨ Coco ✨

I made Katie’s wedding cake last year so when she came to me asking me to make her daughter’s Christening cake I was super excited. Katie had a very classic white wedding cake with a delicate silk bow so we decided to stick to a similar design for Coco’s cake but include some gold leaf and a little gold cross to symbolise the occasion.

“I just wanted to say thank you again so much for the beautiful cake! It was so beautiful 🤩 the restaurant where we hosted the party said it was the best cake they had ever seen.”

🎪 CIRCUS / PIERROT…something a little different over here as I’ve not been taking many novelty cake orders this year BUT…

…Every year Faye comes to me with a super fun theme for her twin girls and usually gives me free reign on the design 💕 they always have a cake each (lucky girls) and this year it was Circus for Etta and chic Pierrot harlequin style for Wren. There’s no way I could do these without tapping into my old fondant skills. Circus cake is mostly buttercream with some fondant elements and the Pierrot hat cake is vintage piped buttercream.

Let me tell you I could NOT wait to deliver these beauties to the party venue!
