A three-tier christening cake inspired by Winnie the Pooh, featuring scenes from the Hundred Acre Wood wrapped around each tier and finished with soft hand-painted grass details, clouds and little touches of honey-loving charm.

I was delighted to be asked by to create this cake for the Director General of SKAO, whose leaving event took place yesterday.

SKAO is the organisation behind what will become the world’s largest radio telescope project.

The design featured a two-tier space theme with constellation detailing inspired by the night sky observations carried out by the observatory, alongside a custom SKAO radio dish topper surrounded by planets, stars and galaxy elements.

Such a unique cake to create ✨
