Yesterday was all about a lovely lady’s Celebration of Life.

We heard the funniest and most incredible stories about her and these replaced the more solemn elements you’d find in a typical funeral.

Happy New Year everyone!

I’ve had a long break over Christmas and New Year and loved every minute.

2025 was a wonderful year for me as a celebrant and whilst some ceremonies were a celebration, others were tinged with sadness but were still a celebration of life.

Currently 2026 is looking like this and there’s still time to get in touch to discuss your ceremony for this year and beyond 💫

Still thinking about Siobhan and Simon’s beautiful day. The colours, the venue, the time of year were just perfect. Albert's Standish looks fantastic all year round, but the Christmas door was beautiful!

Today I had the privilege of conducting a funeral ceremony to celebrate the life of our wonderful Wayne. He and his family have become part of ours, so it was an honour to officiate today’s service.

A huge thankyou to Haltemprice Crematorium for welcoming me and making sure I had time to look around the chapel, also to the wonderful funeral directors from John Parkin and Son who always work their magic to make sure the ceremony runs smoothly.
