When I was asked to make another wedding cake I really wanted to say no but couldn’t refuse and I am so pleased I didn’t.

I was totally out of my comfort zone but it was an absolute honour to make this cake for the most adorable couple.

Thank you so much to Kathryn and Adam for giving me the opportunity to make your wedding cake and for allowing Jason and I to share in your special day. You were a pleasure to work with.

I had the pleasure of making this lovely lady’s wedding cake in February 2020 just before the world went mad so it was great to be asked to make her birthday cake too.

This is a vanilla buttercream cake filled with strawberry jam and buttercream.

I love the rose on this cake.

The past 6 years have been a whirlwind of creations and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed doing every single cake but I will taking a sabbatical in 2022.
Rest assured that if you’ve already booked a date with me you will be firmly in my diary.

I am finding it more and more difficult to source products during the current climate so have decided that a year off will give me a chance to do other activities that I enjoy doing.

Thank your so much for your support and encouragement.

I will let you know when I reopen my diary and in the meantime keep your eye out for a few more creations that are on their way over the next few months.

Happy 18th birthday to Evi who is a fan of the Mc Donald’s chicken nugget.

I like to think my attention to detail is noticed. 18 edible chicken nuggets in a chocolate cake made to look like a box.

The only thing that wasn’t edible was the sauce containers, although they are filled with coloured chocolate ganache, and the lid to the box.

Many congratulations to Karen & Bill on their silver wedding anniversary.

This cake is a lemon Madeira with lemon buttercream and lemon curd.

The flowers are artificial which I wired up and arranged myself. You can get some really good artificial flowers now and they make an excellent alternative to sugar paste flowers.

I had great fun making this cake and all the little vegetables.

The shed is made from Rice Krispie treats and the mud from brown sugar.

Other than the spade and the runner bean supports everything is edible.

This is second time I have made a cake for Karen. Last time she requested a chocolate Orange cake which she liked so much that it was requested again.

It’s definitely one to add to my list of flavours, it’s smells divine.

Every cake maker has to have at least one disaster don’t they?

Thankfully this one was for my husband so I got away with it. I went to cut one of the cakes to fill it yesterday and the middle was completely raw!
So I cut the middle out and filled it with his favourite chocolates! 😂

I think it looked pretty decent in the end!

This cake is salted caramel with butterscotch buttercream and home made salted caramel filling with a salted caramel drip.
