Don’t forget we’re at Tynemouth Food Festival this weekend!!

We have been baking up a storm so far, with more baking to do so be ready to treat yourselves… you deserve it 😉😇

We’ll be there Saturday and Sunday 10am - 5pm

You can buy your tickets online now, or on the day… whatever you decide to do we can’t wait to see you there! 🥰🥳

*Visitor Information*

Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May, 10am – 5pm both days.

*Tickets*

Advance tickets are now sold out. Tickets will be available on the day, subject to site capacity, from the onsite box office located at the main entrance to Tynemouth Priory.

Tickets purchased on the day are £4.50, kids go free.

Advance tickets can be used either Saturday or Sunday, not both days. Tickets will be scanned on entry.

Advance ticketholders can use separate entry and do not need to queue at the main box office.

English Heritage members need to purchase tickets.

*Re-admittance*

There is no re-admittance once you have chosen to leave the Priory.

*Seating*

There’s plenty of picnic benches inside but feel free to bring a picnic chair or blanket.

*Food & drink*

Strictly no food or drink is to be taken into the Priory and consumed on site. There is a wide range of fantastic local traders covering many dietary requirements.

*Parking*

Parking within Tynemouth Village will likely be busy. Visitors are encouraged to use public transport where possible.

*Accessibility*

There is a pathway into the Priory. Traders and marquees are accessed by grass on flat surfaces. Accessible toilets are on site. A limited number of blue badge parking spaces are on Front Street.

*Dogs*

Well behaved, friendly dogs are allowed but must be kept on leads at all times and aren’t allowed inside the marquees.

Happy Easter Everyone!! 🐣🍫

This is our first Easter in 4 years where I haven’t been rushed off my feet with treat boxes 🥺 it does feel a little strange, however it has given me some time to do some Easter baking for our house 🤤😍

Whatever you’ve spent your Easter doing, I hope it’s been lovely!! 🥰

This year is our strangest year yet… we’re still here, still baking, still dreaming up new ideas and when able and ready to, we’ll be back 100% with a BANG 🤩

Thank you so much to every single one of you who is still here and following us on this rollercoaster of a journey, it means the world to me! 🥰

When I tell you that these might be the best things I’ve ever eaten I am not lying 🤤

I have been dying to try these for ages and now you should to!! A quick easy treat for the Easter weekend… or a Monday night 👀 whatever takes your fancy!!

You will need:
1 x croissant dough (Jus-Rol is enough for 6 croissants)
6 x Creme Eggs
1 x egg - beaten

Pre heat your oven to 180 degrees.
Open the croissant dough and split into 6 portions.
Unwrap the Creme Eggs and wrap them up in the croissant dough.
Make sure to seal well so the Creme Egg doesn’t leak out once melted!!
Pop the croissants on to a baking tray.
Use the beaten egg to egg wash the croissants.
Bake the croissants for 15 minutes on the middle shelf of the oven.
Once they are golden brown in colour remove from the oven and enjoy!!

You could even try them with caramel eggs, or the mini egg chocolate bars 😨🤤 the possibilities are endless!

I can’t believe it’s March! 😱

We’ve been super quiet on here this year, but behind the scenes we have still been busy with orders carried over from last year 🥳

I just wanted to show you one of the challenges we, as bakers, face currently. NO EGGS 😨🥚 and other ingredients for that matter!!!

Im sure you all will have noticed that shelves are empty in a lot of shops, and things you can normally always get you can’t guarantee it right now. Well that’s no different for me.

As you all know I’m currently not taking on anything new at the moment and this is just one of the reasons. I cannot guarantee I can always source the ingredients I need 😩 therefore I run the risk of having to cancel orders last minute if I can’t source enough of everything and I refuse to put myself and you lot in that situation 👊🏻 by sticking to orders carried over from last year for now I am able to make sure I get everything I need in plenty of time 🙏🏻

I am so grateful for all of you and all your continued support and lovely messages! 🥰 I am working on new ideas, and coming up with exciting new recipes that I cannot wait to share with you all 🤩

We are still here, still baking and we cannot wait to be back in full swing when possible 😘 in the meantime please continue to support all our lovely local businesses where you can 😍

Your continued support always means the world me, but even more than ever this year 💛

It’s been a difficult year for many reasons but you all make it that bit easier and I am forever grateful and thankful in unimaginable amounts for you all!

I hope you all have a great Christmas whatever you’re doing and we will see you all in the New Year 🥳

As mentioned previously, our 2023 diary still remains closed for now. We are not going anywhere but we do need time to navigate the best way forward in these difficult times for everyone. Any orders in are secure and we cannot wait to make them 🥰 we will let you know as soon as you can get your 2023 orders in 💛
