We have been here for well over 50 years and as such are Wetherby's most established Bakery. Centrally based on the high street, all of our Bread, Savouries & Confectionery are fresh everyday and we pride ourselves on our freshness. We also do Hot and Cold sandwiches to order, all in our amazingly fresh bread in a choice of White, Wholemeal, Granary, Sunflower, Knots or Spelt. The choice is yours

We are looking for a sandwich maker of hot and cold foods, able to make various sandwich fillings from scratch, able to think ahead and get ready for the next day, also able to take wholesale orders over the telephone, work out orders for the next day, help put orders up for the baker. be able to also work in the shop taking orders off customers, we are a very small team, and all work together,
We are looking for someone to work 3 - 4 days per week plus one Saturday every month. Start date in a few weeks time
The ideal candidate will live within 15 mins of Wetherby for ease of travel

Our ideal candidate will
Live close to Wetherby and are able to commute easily.
· Be able deliver excellent customer service
· Experience of working in a retail/food shop is preferable
· Strong communication skills and lots of common sense
· Some knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety procedures

We are looking for a Baker . This would suit someone looking for part time work. One early shift per week . Good rate of pay . Full training will be given .
The Role
• Produce a range of artisan breads, pastries and baked goods following recipe cards and quality standards
• Mix, knead, shape, prove and bake – ensuring consistency, precision and creativity
• Monitor oven temperatures, dough development and baking times to deliver perfect results
• Maintain clean, organised workspaces and uphold the highest food hygiene and safety standards
• Work closely with the Head Baker.
• Contribute to new recipe ideas and seasonal specials
• Early start giving you the day time off. Working 1 morning per week (saturday)

About you
• Previous experience as a Baker, Bread Baker or Pastry Baker (minimum 1 year) preferred
• Strong practical skills in dough handling, shaping and baking
• A genuine passion for artisan baking and craftsmanship
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, CCPs and kitchen safety
• Reliable, organised and ready to work early shifts
• A team player with the energy, ambition and drive to grow into a senior role
• Must have own transport unless you live within walking distance

We are looking for 1 person to do one early shift per week on Saturday Mornings . This role could turn into something more if the person shows real passion and skill. A passion for baking would be very useful and you would be taught the following
