Dear All our valued customers and friends
It’s is with great regret that I need to let you know that I’ve had to make a impossible decision to permanently close the bakery on the 22nd of July 2023
This last year has been unbelievably difficult, the cost of utilities, ingredients and the general cost of living has taken a huge toll on me financially and as a result I’ve had to take the difficult decision to close.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank All of my staff who have worked for me over the years and of course and a special thank you to oli, Casey, Hayley who will Aslo be affected by the closure, who have stood by my thought these difficult times.
To all my customers who’ve been loyal throughout the last 6 and half years while I have owned the bakery and Aslo though the last 32 years of the bakery being in my family.
It is a very sad day indeed to announce this news and I can only hope you can all appreciate the difficult decision I have had to make.
The final day of trading will be Saturday 22nd July
We will do our best to provide products right up to this date but it would be advisable to order in advance so we can insure we have the shock.
Once again I would like to thank everyone who has been part of the James bakery family and Aslo the whitecross bakery family over the last 32 years which was originally started by my grandmother in 1990 untill 2017 when she finally retired at the age of 76 and passed the business on to my self.
I personally wise everyone all the best and hope to see some of our customers to be able to give them a proper good by in person.
