Cheese of the Month!

I'm trying to build a fabulous cheese counter, filled with all your favourite British cheeses, and to do that I need to find out what your favourite cheeses are. So every month, we're going to feature a new cheese and if it proves popular enough, it might just end up sticking around.

This month's cheese is Bath Blue, one you might be pretty familiar with, from the guys at , using a classic stilton recipe, they ensure the quality of each batch by doing every stage by hand.

We'll be popping out a few tasters from Thursday so pop in and give it a try.

Another newbie to add to the line up, we're now stocking Fish4Ever's tinned fish, and we thought we'd start with some classics, Kippers, Mackerel and Herring.

Their ethos prioritises three things, land, sea and people, so not only do they source their fish as sustainably as possible but the same goes for everything that goes in the tin with them, all while making sure to treat the people fairly too. Unsurprisingly, these guys are another B Corp supplier we can add to the list.

⚠️ New Producer Alert! New Producer Alert! ⚠️

We're welcoming to our shelves this week, a small batch Somerset producer, you may have spotted these guys at Weston's Eat Festival before.

Grab their classic Raspberry Jam or get a little adventurous with their Bengali Spiced Tomato Chutney. Personally, I'm excited to give their Wild Blueberry, Pink Peppercorn Balsamic Vinegar a try, how should I test it first, in a brie and bacon toastie, or get crazy and drizzle it over a slice of Basque Cheesecake?

It's the start of British Tomato Fortnight now that we're going in to peak tomato season and we'll be making sure to keep some of the best tomatoes in the shop all through the season.
