It is approaching high season for weddings which does mean that some weeks I have more wedding cake pics than celebration cake pics, but even if you don't need a wedding cake, hopefully they still inspire you to see what can be done in cake and prompt you to get in touch if you think you might need one.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of collaborating with lovely local florist Stems at 24 at the stunning Carriage Hall Spring Open Day.

And I can't get enough of these glorious blooms!

The cake is probably one you've seen before as it's one of my favourite 'dummies' (it's polystyrene inside!) but this Floral Crown cake stand and its inner can be hired from me together to present whatever cake YOU choose perfectly. Even the simplest design gets a glow up with this stand and flower combo and what's more, there's no damage to the cake because the flowers sit safely in water in their own little vials (which also means they stay fresh all day!)

Cupcakes in cricket, music and 60th birthday themes…no problem.

These were designed as mixed boxes of 12 which could be shared on each table at a lovely celebration. Easy to serve and a great talking point, too!

Let’s eat cake!

Whatever the shape of your cake, if you cut it into a grid pattern, you get nice little slices that are easy to serve. I loved this photo from I & C’s wedding earlier this month, as it was lovely to see all three flavours looking so pretty and ready for guests to help themselves.
