A small artisan bakery just outside Saffron Walden. The Loaf Tin is small, unique and dedicated to top quality.

We are inspired by traditional French baking methods, aiming to bring fresh, handcrafted breads, buns and biscuits to our local community.

With the Easter weekend on the horizon we thought we’d share our opening hours so you can plan ahead. It’s one of our busiest times, so we highly recommend pre-ordering—especially if you’ve got your eye on some fresh bakes for Good Friday or Easter Saturday.

And just like that… they’re back.

Our Hot Cross Buns have returned to the counter from today until Easter. Gently spiced, generously packed with fruit and stem ginger, and baked fresh each morning.

Perfect for breakfast, an afternoon pick-me-up, or toasted with plenty of butter.

It’s been a while since its last appearance but we thought it was about time our Carrot Cake was back on the counter. It has a slightly new look but inside it’s our classic recipe with a nutty spiced sponge topped generously with cream cheese icing. On the counter all this week.

Welcoming a new addition to the Dominique’s range: Ginger, Pecan & Almond Granola.

Joining our much-loved Honey & Cranberry, this blend celebrates warm spices, toasted pecans and almonds, and vibrant bursts of crystallised ginger. A perfectly balanced crunch with a little extra character. Soon to be available on the shelves every week.

It’s back! Our Dominique’s Pistachio Biscotti has officially returned—now available in-store and for online pre-order.
Twice-baked for a delicate crunch and generously filled with roasted pistachios - paired perfectly with a morning coffee or afternoon tea.

And there’s more to come - we’re excited to be working on some new Dominique’s products, expanding our pantry offering with delicious staples. Stay tuned over the coming weeks.

A new week, and a few old favourites back on the counter — including some sweet indulgences.

First up, our Mixed Berry Bakewell 🍓 A buttery shortcrust pastry filled with our house-made jam and almond frangipane, topped with mixed berries and flaked almonds. A firm favourite with many of you — and it never feels too soon to welcome it back.

And for the chocolate lovers 🍫 Our Dark Chocolate & Hazelnut Cakes will be on the counter this week too. A light almond-based cake topped with dark chocolate ganache and finished with toasted hazelnuts.

Both available this week, alongside our staple bakery menu.

A new look but the same delicious crunch ✨

Our much-loved Honey & Cranberry Granola now has a fresh new home under our sister brand, Dominique’s.

As part of this exciting change, we’ve also given our packaging an eco-friendly makeover 🌿
Our granola now comes in 100% home compostable bags made from cellulose (derived from sustainable wood pulp!) and topped with recyclable paper header cards. Good for you, good for the planet 🌎

We’re excited to bring you even more delicious pantry additions soon — stay tuned for what’s next 👀
