Our cross-laminated pastry cube, filled with a house strawberry jam and pistachio crème diplomat, then brushed with vanilla syrup for an extra layer of sweetness.

The morning sun always makes for the best photos.

When the summer sunshine pours through the bakery window on a Thursday morning, it seems to make everything look its best.

Today’s subject is a tray of our staple Pain au Chocolat. Layers of buttery, flaky pastry wrapped around dark chocolate - simple, classic, and very hard to resist.

Often found on the counter and a firm favourite with many.

Our Orange & Pistachio Cakes. A wonderfully light, moist sponge soaked in vibrant orange syrup and finished with a generous scattering of pistachios. It’s the sort of cake that’s just as happy served as a light dessert after lunch as it is enjoyed with a glass of something chilled on a warm evening.

With a little sunshine (or quite a lot, with the UK heatwave) in the forecast, we think it’s the perfect companion to a summer’s day.
