Ballerina meets fairy magic 🩰🧚🏽‍♀️
I absolutely enjoyed bringing these two themes together with handmade sugarpaste ballet shoes, little fairies and a garden full of flowers 🌸💕

Tiers in Raspberry White Chocolate, Lemon Poppyseed, Vanilla Bean, Tosted Coconut and Salted Caramel

The beauty of Autumn 🍂.
This colour theme is now a firm favourite! Can't wait to make more Autumn/fall themed cakes....
As the days are getting shorter, I'm very conscious of time as I have limited daylight hours to shoot and capture those details exactly as they should be.

Let me know what you think in the comments ❤️

Love,
Elvie. xx

WWE cake for an amazing boy 💙

I had been patiently waiting for the professional photos of the cake from my sister's wedding, so I could post one more time.

To say the least.... I'm thanking myself for scurrying on that balcony to take pictures of the cake before leaving for the venue. You can never trust the lighting at the venue and this isn't the photographer's fault.

Shall we start a hashtag in honour of cakes which haven't made it to the feed? (Hashtag - notfitforinsta)

Remember this always, Bakers, you are the best photographer for your cakes!

K&K 2026 🇺🇸

Thank you for all the love you've shown me on this cake. The jetlag and was definitely worth it👌🏽❤️.

This is the view from my sister's balcony in Minnesota.
I'm very glad I stacked this cake and took pictures🙌🏽

Still on K & K 2026, this time in Minneapolis, Minnesota 🇺🇸.
Tiers of Salted Caramel, Raspberry White Chocolate, Toasted Coconut, Lemon Drizzle, and Velvety Chocolate cake layers, covered in white chocolate ganache and finally emerald green sugarpaste 👌🏽😘

I couldn't risk the lighting at the venue, so decided to stack and photograph at home.

Not every beautiful cake is easy to photograph.

White cake. White flowers. White kitchen.

Without enough contrast, all those delicate textures can disappear into the background. That's why darker backdrops or tighter framing often help bring the details back to life.

The cake hasn't changed — only the way it's captured. 🤍
