Introducing a firm favourite I've been using lately. You know I'm passionate about good quality ingredients for my cakes!
This Madagascan Vanilla Bean Paste from is just perfect 👌🏽.

It is "Alcohol Free" which means the flavour doesn't evaporate during baking, resulting in an intense, flavourful vanilla taste, plus you get to enjoy seeing the teeny tiny speckles in your cake!

I also use the madagascan vanilla extract for my red velvet and nut / fruit based cakes as it combines with the other ingredients to produce a robust flavour profile.

Not every beautiful cake is easy to photograph.

White cake. White flowers. White kitchen.

Without enough contrast, all those delicate textures can disappear into the background. That's why darker backdrops or tighter framing often help bring the details back to life.

The cake hasn't changed — only the way it's captured. 🤍

Proudly Cameroonian 🇨🇲

This traditional wedding cake signifies a huge part of my heritage, the TOGHU (pronounced "Togho") from the Grassfields (Western Highlands) of Cameroon.

Toghu is a vibrant, intricately embroidered traditional attire originating from the North West Region of Cameroon. Traditionally a royal garment worn exclusively by kings, queens, and dignitaries, it has evolved into a popular, celebrated outfit for all Cameroonians

Most of the process couldn't be filmed because I worked overnight making the figures and covering the cake... iykyk 😉

Feeling funky today (In a lifestyle context)... so i decided to do a voice over. I'm currently obsessed with flexible wafer paper usung recipe... because the things I can do!!!!!! 🥰

Anywho... cake decorating doesn't always go to plan because I'd planned to record the whole ganaching process, but time had other plans as it got darker whilst doing it.

Nevertheless, I was able to record at 6am before the sun came out as we were experiencing a heat wave on this day ❤️
