My name is Lisa Hutchings. I am a wife and mother of two who runs a bakery business from my home in Birchwood, Warrington. Following in my mother's and grandmother's footsteps, I have always loved being in the kitchen, cooking food for my friends and family. During my baking career I have won several awards for my food, from first prizes for cupcakes at local Summer Fayres to taking part in the IT

V series Food Glorious Food, in which I won an award for my amazing Cottage Pie, made using an traditional family recipe. I was also selected to be one of the final 250 contestants of 20,000 who entered The Great British Bake Off. I am hoping that my inherited passion and talent for cooking will allow me to run a successful business and provide for my little family.

Hi all. Alas after 5 years I am having to close my business permanently. It is no longer economically viable. Recent events, though only short, have had a drastic effect on the business which would take us years to recover from.

I would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the last few years. It's been an awesome honour to be involved in some of your happiest days. It gave me a lovely feeling. Here's hoping to a return to normality where we can all celebrate with our loved ones once more.
